Peril (n) : to be in danger, to be in risk, to be in hazard.
Perilous (adj): to be in danger situation, to be in risky situation.
Humble (adj) means to be modest.
Humility (n): to be modesty.
Stymie (v): to block, to hinder, to obstruct, to be unsuccessful, to thwart, to be foil , to be obstructed.
Biannual: happening twice a year.
Biennial: happening every other year.
Fortnight: a period of two weeks.
Fortnightly: happening in other weeks.
Remiss (adj) or remissive to be negligent in performing one’s duty.
I’m perform my duty remissive.
Remit: to send money
Remittance (n): act of sending money to somebody.
Brook: to tolerate something, to stomach something, to handle, to put up it.

·         Cog hate means to think, to ponder, to contra plate.
·         Conversant means to have working knowledge of something either through formal studies or through experience.

·         Consummate means to complete something or to conclude something.
To be exceptionally good at something.

·         Dexterous (adj) means to be good at one’s hand, to be skilful.
·          Ambidextrous to be equally good with both hands.
·         Ambivalent means to have both positive and negative feelings about something.

  • Comparable= two similar or equivalent things that can be comparable.
  • Prefer = you like better than other one. I like blue color.
  •  Preferable =more desirable.

Vocabulary -1




·       Nuance = a subtle or minute differences in the meaning of the words.
Example: The nuance between run and sprint is one does run for an hour, but one does not sprint for an hour. (Sprint is used to faster run for a short period of time.)
·       Notorious = to be famous for something bad.
·         Infamous= to be famous for something bad.
·         Renowned= to be famous for something good.
Example: Gandhi was renowned, whereas Hitler was infamous.
·         Allude= to make an indirect reference.
·         Refer= to mention something explicitly, specifically by name.
·         Content = (n) the things that are put in some thing.
Example: the table of content.
·         Content = (adj)  to be happy, to be satisfy , to be satiated  .
