Vocabulary -1




·       Nuance = a subtle or minute differences in the meaning of the words.
Example: The nuance between run and sprint is one does run for an hour, but one does not sprint for an hour. (Sprint is used to faster run for a short period of time.)
·       Notorious = to be famous for something bad.
·         Infamous= to be famous for something bad.
·         Renowned= to be famous for something good.
Example: Gandhi was renowned, whereas Hitler was infamous.
·         Allude= to make an indirect reference.
·         Refer= to mention something explicitly, specifically by name.
·         Content = (n) the things that are put in some thing.
Example: the table of content.
·         Content = (adj)  to be happy, to be satisfy , to be satiated  .
